Sam Blenkinsop and Claire Buchar win the Garbanzo DH race at Crankworx, Whistler.
Is this the hardest downhill race in the world? Fourteen minutes of pain on a super difficult track. Could be.
Blenky and Buchar beat the pain and take home the giant checks.
Marcel Gutierrez had a banger so too Jack Reading. Ben Reid just outside the top 10 (come on lads, lets have some blog action from Cranky!)
Manon Carpenter had a great ride for 2nd, just 7 seconds behind Buchar. (She beat her dad too. Carps senior had a bit of big smash, so get well soon J)
Oh and check out all the big names who DNS: Brosnan, Atherton, Hart, Fairclough, Riffle. It’s National Champ season so are they saving themselves?
