This A, B, C crap is gay.  Its a fucking ride.  You do it, you make it or you don't.  Otherwise, stay on DC and Papago and take faggy pictures of flowers.

Ride difficulty: A- technical, B+ pace National, Hobert, 24th Street/Morman, Corona de Loma, DC, Tele, National. "Sessioning" uphill technical moves will be done on this ride. Cameras are strongly recommended, but not required. 100+ ounces, we will fill up at Boy Scout water fountain.

Ok, its no big deal, but that would be sweet. It tripped me out because I kept thinking something wasn't lined up. I'll show it to you first.

It was really easy to build and I'm happy with how it came out.  Finally got to use that SS conversion kit I've had in my toolbox for years. 

I lined up the stem to the tire.  Ok, good.  Then I looked at the fork crown and it was crooked. I checked everything else - looking straight down at it, its misaligned.  The dropouts are straight, so its fine, just looks weird.  I'll show you when I bring it down.

Ok cool.  I'm stoked on it, it should be bomb proof.  I'm curious what it'll feel like on the trail...

Really? How is the fork crown misaligned?

There is a fix for the dropout, but it would require me to show you how to do it.  Its something we could do at the shop if you want to bring it down sometime. 

Surprisingly yes.  At least to me. Super stable, especially with the hookworms.  Doesn't feel twitchy even with the narrow bars I have on it. 

I dig it.  A lot.  I can't wait to do a real ride on it.  And I like the fact that its damn near indestructable.

Only 2 gripes so far - the crown on the fork is misaligned.  And the brake mount/dropout is loose enough that it moves when you hit the rear brake.  Any fix for that?
