I only have a 36x18 gear on the Sluggo and a too-short seatpost.
Not doing any more trail riding with that setup. It sucks and kills my knees.

not surprised after watching Jimmy ride it/try to ride it.

The tensioner at the bottom was broken and the gearbox itself was loose which is why the chainring was wobbling and causing the chain to drop. I could be wrong, maybe some of it did get fixed, but I know when I saw it last it was fucked up.

That and the tabs on the frame which hold the idler pulleys have all been bent and then bent back and bent again, so if you try to straighten them they are just going to snap off the frame. The only way to really fix them is to bend them back and have them re-welded. That bike needs a expert mechanic that can not charge full price by the hour to rebuild it, thats the only reason Fish didn't want to do it, it would cost Freddy a fortune.

Wow. That sucks. Yeah, I remember seeing it at Cactus after he had ridden it for a bit, it was pretty beat. It wasn't when I sold it to him...
I can imagine it being a pain, lots of proprietary parts on it.
